 High School Bio:

            Bresler played split-end on offense and safety on defense for the Mounties. He led his team to a semi-finals berth in the Class 4A state playoffs. He caught 20 passes and intercepted six. Shades Valley High School End played two years of varsity football and was Captain of his team. He was voted Most Valuable Player (Lineman); All-County; All-Metro; All-State; All-Southern; All-American.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
