 High School Bio:

            Beddingfields athletic honors included All-County, All-Conference, Back of the Year, All-State, All-Southern, All-American, and Gadsden High Back of the Year. David rushed 66 times for 403 yards and completed 64 of 116 passes for 1,034 yards. He only threw two interceptions his senior season. His top performance in a single game saw him pass for four touchdowns and run for another. He was also the Gadsden punter and averaged 39.7 yards per kick. In al, he accounted for 15 touchdowns, nine rushing and six passing.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
