 High School Bio:

            Sutton played varsity football for four years and served as captain of his team. His specialty was passing, having completed 65 out of 135 attempts for a total of 1,176 yards. He also participated in baseball, basketball and track.

In 1969 the two point conversion was adopted for play following a touchdown. Until that time all conversions were worth one point.
