 High School Bio:

            Bell was a Halfback of Tallassee High School. He was also a punting specialist. In 1961 he was All-State Football, All-Border Conference. He played four years of varsity football and in 1961 grid statistics record to his credit 104 carries for 982 yards or an average of 9.44 yards per carry. The 1962 records show for him 139 carries for 749 yards or 5.71 yard average. He also played basketball.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
