            Busby was named All-County for four years, All-Conference two years, All-State senior year; Lettered four times in baseball, twice in basketball; In eight games senior season, scored eight touchdowns, carried ball for 601 yards, (5.5 rushing average) and caught 16 passes for 167 yards; Also kicks extra points.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Homewood defeated Benjamin Russell in five overtimes during the Class 5A Super Six state championship game in 2000.
