North Sand Mtn replaces its Aug 28 game with Dade County, Ga with a home game against Woodville. Woodville was previously open.

I have all the 202 schedules entered for the AHSAA and AISA schools. I know some changes are going to be made before and after the season starts. I will try my best to keep up with them. There may be a few games against Mississippi and Georgia teams that will be cancelled.

I think Success Unlimited will drop from the AISA and play 8-man football. I have heard a few other AISA schools may do the same.

So for now let me know of any schedule changes you come across and I will get them entered.

Thanks to everyone who works so hard to keep us informed with the schedules. Hopefully most teams will get to play their entire schedule this fall.

Looks like we'll be seeing plenty of these in the coming days.

Deshler and Muscle Shoals delay season to Sep 4. They're both now expected to play each other Sep 25. Muscle Shoals game against Florence and Deshler game against Russellville not expected to be rescheduled.

I am going to be pulling out what little hair I have remaining long before this season even gets started. If we are able to play some games this fall it will be near impossible on Friday nights to get the scores for all the games.

I see a big problem with not knowing if a game was played or cancelled if no score can be found. It may prove easier to just go back to the initial year of AHSFHS.org when I just entered the scores a few days after they were played instead of trying to get them all entered by midnight on Friday night.

I have been in contact with coaches and the media from Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama and I just have serious doubts about a football season this fall. It seems every time we take one step forward we have to take two steps backwards. Some school districts across those states are delaying the start of school by a couple of weeks. That means no football practice where my sons are in Georgia during that time.

I wish I had good news but everything seems to be bad news with it getting worse each day.

One day I get encouraged and enter some schedules and by late afternoon I stop because of something I read. It is a lot of work to enter the schedules for three states and will be even a tougher task to delete them later.

This is beginning to not be fun for anyone involved with high school football. I feel for the administrators, coaches and players. I truly do.

In the mean time send me your schedule changes or post them here and I will do what I can. Mississippi has not even released their master schedules but they do not plan to start before Sept. 4th.

I hear you. I've prepared myself since early this summer that the likelihood of having a football season was slim to none. We saw how disorganized MLB was with its season start, so I certainly don't expect high schools with far fewer resources able to pull this off.

A few days old but I hadn't seen this posted so I'll add to the pile. Greene, Sumter, and Barber Counties aren't playing at all this season.

Mcslate, Barbour County isn?t stopping sports for all schools within their county like Greene and Sumter. Only Barbour County High is canceling all sports. So technically it?s only 2 counties (which is a total of 2 schools Greene Co. High and Sumter Co. High) and Barbour High.

Barbour County canceling sports beyond football season seems odd considering they played in the basketball state finals last year. I feel they should have taken it one sport-season at a time.

Furthermore, Barbour County High after the forfeited upcoming season games will now only be 1 loss behind tying RC Hatch for the most consecutive losses state record.

Randolph County Tigers

2003 Class 2A State Champions

2017 Class 3A State Runner-Ups, 1998 Class 3A State Runner-Ups,
1984 Class 3A State Runner-Ups, 1979 Class 2A State Runner-Ups

Barbour County High is the only school in the county system. Eufaula has a city school system, so they wouldn't be affected by this decision.

Vestavia's first two games vs Mountain Brook and Homewood have been cancelled.Later found out its because numerous players, including head coach Buddy Andersom, has tested positive for COVID.

Athens has a change of plans for its first two games. First game at Fort Payne has been cancelled while the Aug 28 game against James Clemens has moved to October 30.
