Does anyone know when the new classifications will be coming out? I was told yesterday that someone saw that it could be February or March before they came out.

If all the rumors were true that are circulating around here there will be 45-50 teams in 3A. People just don't understand that you can't just look at numbers and assume what class your school will be in. Until they board meets and they sit down at the table you never know for sure how it all will fall out.

I read somewhere that the various sports realignments would be released after each seasons sports are complete, fall, winter & then spring, instead of all at once like in the past. So the fall sports should have their realignments posted soon, if that's correct.

| If you just can't wait to find out the realignment for basketball then check out the volleyball realignment. I only looked at Class 4A but with the exception of a few schools the areas were pretty much the same for the current years (2018-2020). |

Yes, for SV, for instance, our volleyball area has been the same as basketball, baseball, and softball for the last few realignments. I think the only reason they're waiting until after the current seasons is to take into account any titles teams might win this year. But, i agree, for the most part, the areas will probably be the same.
