Did anyone else read the article?
"At Prattville, DuBose built the Lions into a national power and won two state titles and finished runner-up once during his four-year tenure."
Sure. He "BUILT" Prattville.

Seems more to me that Coach DuBose was reaping the benefits of Coach Clark at Prattville.

Dubose is a very good coach but Bill Clark built the Prattville dynasty.

YES; 100%. DuBuse is a good coach. Just took issue with the article ignoring Clark.

Central Phenix City hires Pinson Valley coach Patrick Nix.

He is a good coach but a talent chaser. He went to Scottsboro because they had some talent and same thing on down the line. He will probably leave again in a couple of years unless kids start moving in to play for him at a significant rate.

I disagree. I'm not saying there wasn't talent at Scottsboro and obviously there's talent at Central. But, I think him going from Charleston Southern to Scottsboro originally was so he could be a high school head coach in Alabama and coach his sons. And now, this move gets him even closer to his oldest son in Auburn while he's still coaching his younger son in high school.

You could be right. We will just have to see. I just get the sense he moves a lot and lines up his motives based on the talent he sees. Not saying that's a bad thing. I just don't see him as a program builder type. He is a great cook if he has the groceries, not so sure he could grow the garden.
Side note. I sent you an email on here, did you see it?

Have not seen anything official on this yet, but rumors say Hillcrest Evergreen's Clinton Smith is heading to Shades Valley. |

Didn't know anything about him, but after looking him up, very impressed! He won the state title a couple years ago and seems to definitely be positive, hungry, and wanting to win. We certainly need that.
