Douglas coaches criticized for the way they disciplined players leaving injuries. Going so far as to involve the Sheriff's office.

https://whnt.com/2019/08/20/superintendent-sides-with-coach-after-parental-outcry-over-football-player-discipline/

The superintendent backs the coach. But even not knowing all the facts, football is an elective activity, no child should be scared or injured as punishment no matter the infraction. If it was bad enough kick them off the team and let administors handle punishment. If it's on the field discipline accordingly. Bear crawls are, and have been, used by every coach who has put on a whistle without injury; if that's what they were doing they were doing it wrong

Sorry for the long post but wanted my take out there, and wanted to know what others think. Am I wrong? Or overreacting?
