The Anniston Star reported that Ranburne coach Chad Young was steeping down after this season to run for Cleburne County Superintendent of Education. He was been the head coach for 17 years and only the third Ranburne coach since 1953.

Ranburne might lose Chad Young. Young has qualified to run for Cleburne County Superintendent as a Republican. If he wins the primary election on March 1, he'll step down as head coach, as there's no Democratic candidate and the winner of the March election will win the job. Should he lose the election, he says he might stay on at Ranburne.

According to a post on the Glencoe Athletic Booster Club Facebook page Lee Osment has resigned as head football coach and athletic dirretor.

The Gadsden Times and The Anniston Star both confirmed that Osment is going to Oxford as an assistant on Ryan Herring's staff.
