Bullock County beat Beulah 26-21 in Week 1. It shows as OPEN for both teams.

Yes, the AHSAA website lists this as a jamboree in the mass schedule link.

That's the issue with that week one, or as they call it , week zero. There's both regular season and jamboree games, and the newspaper and online reporters have no idea if they're an actual game, or a jamboree. The local recap shows here, were confused as well. I remember they had Ramsay and Helena, Vestavia and Briarwood, and somebody Midfield played, and reported on them just like they were their opening games. You even had people on al.com guessing the winners of those games like they were opening games.

The game had to be a jamboree. Otherwise both teams would be playing an eleven game schedule.
