Tuscaloosa High School put in a claim for the National Interscholastic Championship after defeating McKinley Tech of Washington DC 19-6. It was the most difficult game for the Black Bears in the past four seasons. The game, played at Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, was the 62nd win in the past 65 games for the Black Bears.
