2017 Season Scoring Averages




Week 5            (9/23/2017)

Well, then inevitable has happened with Maplesville moving to the top of the list for scoring offenses in the state with an average of 54.8 points per contest. Wadley remains close behind with an average of 65.6. Three other teams are above the 50 point mark this week.

The Fyffe defense has allowed just six pints in four games and lead all defenses this week. Seven others are giving up less than a touchdown per game.

Wadley has defeated four opponents by an average of 49.7 points and lead all schools.

Calhoun continues to struggle to win football games and have yet to score a point this season. Their defense is not stopping anyone and is giving up points at a rate of 57.3 a game.

Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
