Game: Played Thursday, December 9, 2004 at Legion Field in Birmingham
 
Summary:
          The Hoover Bucs got a pair of touchdowns from quarterback Jarod Bryant and a blocked punt returned for another score by Cory Reamer to claim their third straight Class 6A state football championship and fourth in the last five years with a 22-7 win over Prattville at Legion Field.
          MVP Jarod Bryant completed 12 of 23 passes for 208 yards and threw a 69-yard touchdown pass to Mason Dueitt in the second half. He also ran for a 1-yard score in the first.
          Cory Reamer blocked two punts in the game, the first setup Hoover at the Prattville 40-yard line which led to a field goal. On the Lions next possession, Reamer repeated his trick by blocking another punt. This time he returned the ball 12-yards for a touchdown. The Bucs led  15-0 with 47 seconds remaining in the first half.
         The Bucs' defense held the Lions to 37 yards rushing for the game and held quarterback Larry Smith in check most of the evening.
