Game: Played Friday December 5, 1986 at Municipal Stadium, Brewton
 
Summary:
         The Litchfield Eagles won their first ever state championship by defeating T.R. Miller 23-14. The Eagles used two fourth quarter touchdowns by running back Tracey Crowley to propel them to the title. Crowley rushed for 194 yards on 19 carries and scored on a 72-yard run and a 48-yard pass play to seal the win for the Eagles.
         Joseph Williams led the Tigers with 112 yards rushing on 26 carries but it was not enough. The two teams fought to a 7-7 halftime tie and Litchfield led 10-7 after three periods. Miller took the lead on a Joseph Williams 2 yard run on the first play of the fourth quarter setting up the late game heroics by Crowley.
         One the first play following the kickoff, Crowley raced 72-yards for a touchdown and the Eagles had a lead they would never relinquish. John Horton led the defense with eight tackles and two assists.
Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Parrish scored a record 77 points in a playoff game against Cedar Bluff in 2001. The Tornados were shutout the following week 19-0 by Courtland.
