Game: Played Friday December 7, 1984 at Valley Head
 
Summary:
        Valley Head running back, Jeff Harrison, rushed for 108 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead the Tigers to their first ever state championship in four playoff appearances.
        The Sweet Water Bulldogs were led by Marvin Lockett's 30-carry 163 yard performance. Valley Head scored on their first possession of the game on a 14-play 77 yard drive when Harrison took it in from one yard out to put the Tigers up 7-0.
        Following a blocked punt, the Bulldogs scored on Lockett's 6 yard run with 1:36 left in the half. The two-point try was missed and the Tigers still led 7-6 at intermission.
        Following a Bulldog punt in the third quarter, Valley Head took over at the Sweet Water five-yard line after John Kirby returned the punt 60 yards. Two plays later, Harrison scored his second touchdown and the Tigers led 13-6.
