The 1957 Ranburne Bulldogs were chosen Class A State Champions by the Birmingham News from District 3.
The Ranburne Bulldogs under coach H.L. Ayers piled up 284 points and allowed only 43. They were held close only once during the season. That was in the opening games against Cleburne County which the Bulldogs won 14-12.
Ranburne rushed for 2,186 yards and held their opponents to just 794 yards. The Bulldogs completed 65 of 105 passes in 1957.
