The 1952 Eufaula Tigers were chosen Class AA State Champions by the Birmingham News from District 1.
The Tigers outscored their opponents 252-48 to finish the season 10-0. One of the biggest games that season for Eufaula came on October 17 when they traveled to Andalusia. The Bulldogs came into the game with a 4-0-1 record and Eufaula was 5-0.
Eufaulas Joe Mathis would throw three second quarter touchdowns for the visitors in a 27-0 rout. Wayne Smith caught two of the scores and George Grider got the other. Billy Bradham would score the last touchdown for Eufaula in the last quarter on a short run for the final score.
