Hoover vs. Auburn Since the Super Six began in 1996, 39 teams have made a championship game appearance for the first time. The first timers won only 10 of those 39 games. Hoover blocks a punt that is recovered in the end zone by Chris DeMoss for a touchdown. 7-0 Hoover leads after one period. The two teams combined for 59 yards of offense in the first quarter. Hoover leads Auburn at the half 7-0. The Bucs are held to 47 yards of offense while Auburn has only gained 85 yards. Auburn gets a 35 yard field goal to cut the lead to 7-3 with 6:56 remaining in the 3rd quarter. Bradrick Shaw scores on a 39 yard pass from Hutchenson with 1:56 left in the third. PAT is missed. Hoover leads 13-3. Shaw scores on fourth down and one with 9:29 remaining in the game. 20-3 Bucs lead. Other Notes:
