Super Six Class 3A State Championship game
                                                 

#7 Leeds vs. #1 Madison Academy.

Madison Academy scores first on a 43 yard run by Kerryon Johnson. They went 68 yards on 6 plays. PAT good 8:43.
Madison Academy rushed for 138 yards in the first quarter.
Kenoni Miller scores on a 1 yard run for Madison Academy with 9:56 remaining in the 2nd quarter. MA 14-0 over Leeds.
Madison Academy leads at the half 14-0. Their running attack is very strong but Leeds has begun to move the football in with a mixture of passes and runs.

Tre Nation scores on a 1 yard run with 6:19 left in the 3rd quarter. 14-7 MA.
Kemoni Miller scores again on a 10 yard run. 21-7 MA with 2:08 remaining in the 3rd.
Jacoby Lockhart scores on a 28 yard pass from Marshall. 21-14 MA at the end of three quarters.

Nathan Geis makes good on a 45 yard field goal with 7:59 left in the game for a 24-14 lead.
LaMarkus Martin scores on a 3 yard run for Madison Academy with 3:28 left in the game to wrap up another title for MA.

Final: Madison Academy 31-14 Leeds
 

 

Other Notes:

MVP #32 Kemoni Miller from Madison Academy. He ran for 168 yards on 20 carries and scored a couple of TDs.

Nathan GGeis kicks a Super Six record 45 yard field goal breaking the previous record of 43 set by Chandler Trach, also of Madison Academy in 2012.

Madison Academy set a school record with their 15th win this season. They finish with a perfect 1501 record.

Madison Academy's coach Eric Cohu wins his 100th game. His career record is 100-21 in 10 seasons. He is 62-9 at MA.

MA did not complete a pass. It is the third time in Super Six history this has occurred.
