Reeltown completed the 2016 season with a 6-5 record. With their 5-2 region record and a third place finish in Class 2A region five, the Rebels earned a spot in the playoffs in 2016. Reeltown's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Sand Rock by a score of 20-18. Since 2010, Reeltown has gone a combined 62-24. The Rebels are led by head coach Matt Johnson who is entering his second season at the helm. His team finished with a 6-5 record in his first season at Reeltown. Last year the Notasulga Blue Devils finished with an overall record of 7-5 and in third place in Class 1A region three. The Blue Devils lost in the second round of the Class 1A playoffs to Linden by a score of 48-15. Reeltown and Notasulga have met a total of 67 times on the football field.
