Enterprise completed the 2015 season with a 5-6 record. With their 3-3 region record and a fourth place finish in Class 7A region two, the Wildcats earned a spot in the playoffs in 2015. Enterprise's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to McGill-Toolen by a score of 30-13. Enterprise took a step backwards last year with their first losing season since 2011. Enterprise was inconsistent offensively last year and that needs to pick up if the Wildcats want to be competitive. They only averaged 18.5 points a game. Since 2010, Enterprise has gone a combined 31-33. Their 48.0% winning percentage ranks 20th in Class 7A over the past six seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Enterprise has managed to compile a record of 162-112. Their 59.0% winning percentage ranks 13th in Class 7A and 99th in the AHSAA. The Wildcats are led by head coach David Faulkner who is entering his fifth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 24-20 over the past four seasons at Enterprise. Under his direction the Wildcats have qualified for the playoffs a total of three times. They have not won a region crown with Coach Faulkner. Coach Faulkner's overall record as a head football coach in eight season stands at 53-38 (58.2%). Over the course of his career, Coach Faulkner's teams have qualified for the playoffs a total of six times and won one region championship. The Enterprise Wildcats will play in Class 7A region two during the 2016 season. The Wildcats have one of the toughest schedules in Class 7A. Their opponents had a combined record of 69-44 last season. That ranks 4th in Class 7A and 32nd in the AHSAA. The Wildcats will be in the mix for one of the last two playoff spots in region two this season. The Wildcats open the 2016 season on the road against non-region opponent Dothan on Friday, August 19 at Rip Hewes Stadium. Last year the Dothan Tigers finished with an overall record of 6-5 and in second place in Class 6A region two. The Tigers lost in the first round of the Class 6A playoffs to Northridge by a score of 48-21. Enterprise and Dothan have met a total of 88 times on the football field. The Wildcats have a 46-39-3 record against the Tigers. They last met in 2015 with Enterprise winning by a score of 24-14. Enterprise returns 7A All-State Senior linebacker Keonte White. He was named to the honorable mention team last season. The Wildcats also return Senior defensive back Marcus Jones. He was named to the honorable mention team.
