The Warriors open the 2016 season on the road against non-region opponent Sheffield on Thursday, August 18 at Walton R. Wright Stadium. Last year the Sheffield Bulldogs finished with an overall record of 4-6 and in fifth place in Class 3A region 8. The closed out the regular season with a loss to Rogers by a score of 34-14. Wilson and Sheffield have met a total of 22 times on the football field. The Warriors have a 7-15-0 record against the Bulldogs. They last met in 2018 with Sheffield winning by a score of 22-6.
