With their 3-3 region record and a fourth place finish in Class 3A region 4, the Raiders earned a spot in the playoffs in 2015. Greensboro's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Daleville by a score of 40-18. Since 2010, Greensboro has gone a combined 33-31. Their 52.0% winning percentage ranks 29th in Class 4A over the past six seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Greensboro has managed to compile a record of 149-132. Their 53.0% winning percentage ranks 21st in Class 4A and 157th in the AHSAA. The Raiders are led by head coach Richard Bevill who is entering his second season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 12-10 over the past two seasons at Greensboro. Under his direction the Raiders have qualified for the playoffs a total of two times. The Raiders open the 2016 season on the road against non-region opponent Minor on Friday, August 19 at Minor Stadium. Last year the Minor Tigers finished with an overall record of 8-5 and in third place in Class 6A region 5. The Tigers lost in the quarter-finals round of the Class 6A playoffs to Clay-Chalkville by a score of 50-14. Greensboro and Minor have met a total of 2 times on the football field.
